Production is reduced in the vineyard in order to obtain the best grapes. We are committed to reduce soil pollution and to be more environmentally respectful.
This wine reflects the characteristics of each vintage year, playing with the varietal percentage without losing the typology and personality of the wine.
We are committed to the Graciano variety and its potential in our area, it ripens very well and it has personality. We work in the same way with the Garnacha variety.
The wood accompanies the wine, without covering it up. A fresh, fine, natural wine with balance, fruit and a high potential for ageing.
This wine is obtained from bush vines, planted by my grandfather in one of our plots and following this quite ancient training method. This Garnacha is produced separately. It is located 420 metres above sea level, “on a slight slope”.
Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and cellar. Balanced coupage of Turruntes and Maturana Blanca varieties, which culminates the ageing process, fermenting in the barrel.
BODEGAS LACUS, is located in Aldeanueva de Ebro, Eastern Rioja,
within one of the world’s most recognised wine regions.
We make our wines following the centenarian tradition of La Rioja,
and all of them are protected by the Rioja Designation of Origin.
